Furnace Repair

The Proven Furnace Repair Experts

Being distressed about your comfort shouldn’t be something to think about as seasons change and temperatures drop in Saint Charles. It’s necessary to remember that even as you transition from using your air conditioner to a furnace, both systems operate independently and should be controlled as such so you can avoid AC and furnace repairs. After all, you don’t want to be challenged with your furnace going out during the coldest part of winter.

We have more or less seen all that the Saint Charles weather can throw our home, and we’re here to make sure you’re comfortable even when it seems like the weather can’t get any more unpredictable. We understand that if you’re reaching us at 3 a.m., all you desire is for your furnace to be fixed quickly, and the right way, the first time around so you can get back to having a comfortable home. That’s why our team of NATE-certified technicians is accessible at any hour, day or night, to take care of any furnace repair you may require. Plus, our team has the knowledge and skill to repair your furnace regardless of the make, model or age. You can unwind knowing that we can take care of any mishaps that may come up.

Of course we also must say that we extremely recommend that you have annual furnace service completed so that you’re not stuck contacting us in the middle of the night with cold home. There are also a couple things that you can check yourself prior to calling us, so if you do end up calling, we’ll both be on the same page and know that these minute things have already been monitored.

  • Do you have the thermostat set to “heat”? – Once brisk weather finally settles in for good, it can be easy to forget that you need to have your thermostat turned over to “heat.” It happens a lot more often than you’d expect, so be sure you double-check your thermostat and its setting.
  • Is the furnace switch on? – Normally on the side of your furnace, the furnace switch looks like a normal light switch and should be flipped up, or on. If it’s not, flip the switch on, and once the built-in time delay period has gone by, your furnace will turn back on. The time delay is regularly only a couple minutes.
  • Have you changed your furnace filter? – Forgotten about more than people woud like to accept, furnace filters play a considerable role in the performance and efficiency of your system. There’s also a possibility that it could prevent your furnace from operating at all. Be sure to swap your furnace filter out every three months for the best performance.
  • Look at your circuit breaker – Another fundamental piece to check is your circuit breaker. If the breaker switch for your furnace is tripped, you can cycle it off and then back on. Doing so should allow the system to kick back on. If it doesn’t, give us a shout and we can work together to figure out what the problem is.
