Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this wonderful event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial support for families.
Midland Air Service Experts gave $1000 to this great cause and the nationwide event has gathered over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club gets involved every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t exactly a motorcycle group. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To learn more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
