I called to see if you could put a new one on and was told the price would be over $800. Two days earlier ComEd included in by bill an offer for a Honeywell digital thermostat for $99. While I'm sure yours is better the $700 price difference was too much. I paid a company $99 to install. Everything worked great until you came in for my yearly furnace servicing an I was told the furnace had not been connected. I was told by Zach that he could connect it but it would be $66. The next thing I know Zach is on the phone with your office and a little while later he is replacing my Humidistat and he's telling me the $66 charge is now $170 and the Humidistat wouldn't work with the replacement thermostat and the total charges would be $458. I hope the killing you made on this sale was worth losing a customer for life."

After waiting for a return call for over 5 hours I called 4 other HVAC companies, spoke to a sales person at each company and was given a price. I finally contacted on of the companies and scheduled a new hot water heater installation which as it turned out was over $300 less for the same White model price of Golden Seal."

During the time window scheduled, I received a call that there were no special filters in stock. Then the technician came without the special filters that I had advised the office scheduling staff should be brought because the techs do not carry them with them. Andy, the tech, was super, but because of an office person not doing their job even though I told them three times to make sure the tech brought the electrostatic filter, it was not brought and another appointment has to be scheduled. This requires special effort on my part and totally uncalled for."

(this was after my window) They said someone would call. Nobody did... I followed up again and was ensured someone would call and come out. Finally got an email with window during the evening. Cesar did show up and was phenomenal --- just like previous times he has been to the house. We are a long time contract maintenance customer - 15+ years and recently let it lapse as we are selling the house. We bought a new furnace and AC through you guys. Post house inspection we needed service on one AC units. Trust me - the difference in responsiveness from having a contract to not having one is HUGE and extremely disappointing."
